Melton Basketball Association:
Melton Basketball Association is a growing and developing basketball Association which operates out of the Melton Indoor Recreation Centre. We currently have Senior Men’s & Womens and Junior Boys & Girls Domestic competitions which can be accessed through the Results & Fixtures link.

Our Junior competitions are conducted over three days of the week: Mondays, Thursdays & Saturdays.
Monday we have U18 Boys competition. Thursday we have U16 Boys & U18/20 Girls competition. Saturday we have U/10 Mixed, U/12 & U/14 Boys & U12, U14 & U16 Girls competitions.
Basketball Clinics:
On a Saturday morning we also conduct a Basketball Clinic for beginners which runs from 9.00am till 9.45am. If your children are interested in joining or would just like to have a look please feel free to come along.
Players and coaches from the Thoroughbreds and Lady Thoroughbreds senior teams conduct clinics for juniors during school holidays. Participation ranges from beginners through to the more advanced.
Melton Junior Thoroughbred Squads:
In 2011, we currently have 10 Junior Representative Squad teams competing in the Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL) competitions played on Friday nights throughout Metropolitan Melbourne.
Melton Senior Thoroughbred Squads:
Melton Basketball Association have a Men’s team in the Big V Basketball League Division 2 Competition who play on a Home and Away basis with the Home Court being the Melton Indoor Recreation Centre. The Big V Season commences in March and goes through to finals in August with matches being played either Saturday evenings or Sunday afternoons.
